Welcome to MovieNavigator.org’s coverage of
the 41st New York Film Festival. This is our second year taking part – last
year, we were online for just over a month when we started our festival
reporting. This year we’ve got a fairly elaborate setup planned. I’ll be posting
daily reports from the critic screenings, spewing opinions on movies and tacking
up lots of glossy color photos. We’re also going to offer a serial narrative
called Kill the Lights. The prologue is below, and a new episode will
appear each day. I hope you’ll all tune in for both our color coverage and our
black & white fiction.
